We currently serve over 120 participants daily, serving 26 zip codes.
In the new building, we can host 400+ participants daily and 30+ zip codes across Jefferson, Bullitt, Oldham, and Shelby Counties.

We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Activities Manager
The Activities Manager works to create a multi-faceted daily/monthly calendar that is appropriate for all – children, seniors, and individuals with or without health conditions or impairments- and includes events that encourage individuality, participation, and leadership.
In cooperation with the ILC Director, assists and maintains a diversified spectrum of community partnerships to provide participants with opportunities for lifelong learning, volunteering, and purposeful service.
This position reports to the ILC Director.
Cleaning Associate
The Cleaning Associate is responsible for performing various cleaning activities, reporting any broken items or injuries to their manager, securing locations, and reporting maintenance issues.
This position reports to the Home Sweet Home Manager.
Cook
This position plans, prepares, and cooks food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers. They help keep the kitchen organized and running efficiently. They ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and following food storage procedures.
This position reports to the Chef.
Direct Service Professional
The Direct Support Professional is responsible for the care, hygiene, health, training, development, safety, and supervision of the participants of Harbor House services and programs.
This position reports to the Program Manager.
Kitchen Assistant
This position assists the cook with ingredient preparation as well as performing all washing and cleaning duties required in the kitchen.
This position reports to the Chef.
Director of Operations
The Director of Operations is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing activities in the organization to ensure the development and implementation of efficient operations while meeting established goals.
This position directly oversees the operations of maintenance, transportation, IT, and fulfillment.
This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Health & Wellness Coordinator
The Health & Wellness Coordinator is responsible for developing and overseeing programs aimed at promoting health and preventing disease, such as nutrition, healthy eating habits, and other habits for a healthy lifestyle. The coordinator leads physical education classes, including instruction on techniques, skills, and rules of various sports and the concept of teamwork.
This position reports to the Activities Manager.
Marketing & Outreach Manager
The position will lead efforts to foster and grow relationships with national, regional, and local organizations, associations, agencies, volunteers, and individual donors whose mission and goals align with those of Harbor House.
Responsible for planning, creating, and executing marketing campaigns to expand Harbor House’s reach and internal/external relationships.
This position reports to the Development Director.
Security
Technology Coordinator
The Technology Coordinator assists participants, seniors, children, and staff with logging in, accessing software, and printing in the Technology Center. Coordinators are responsible for reporting issues and maintaining the functionality of the computers, projectors, and printers used in the Technology Center.
The Technology Coordinator also assists participants and staff with accessing assistance from other Information Technology resources such as the IT Desk and the Helpdesk. Customer service, speaking, and interpersonal skills are critical to success in this position.
